Some of you boxing fans are brainless. Floyd fought that SAME fight against Canelo. Same style. And won wide. Lara does it and he's running?

Grow a brain and see the big picture people.

I suggest you watch the Canelo Floyd fight (since you obviously haven't watched it yet)

Floyd stood his ground for the majority of the fight, he did not fight like Lara using excessive movement nor was his punch output nearly that low

Mayweather landed 232 shots against Canelo, vs 107 for Lara

It's easy to look like a "defensive wizard" when you're simply moving and not letting your hands go. Punching at your opponent is when you're most likely to actually be landed on. Lara was using excessive movement, Mayweather did not

I can understand Shields frustration but I think he's speaking out of emotions. I think once he settles down, and watches the film, he will realize how little his guy really did.

It was uneventful both ways, so it wasn't really a surprise that it was a hard fight to judge.

This fight was a DRAW @ worst case for Lara. My friends and I observing the fight thought Lara gave Canelo a Cuban-boxing lesson. Ronnie Shields -- Hall of Fame Trainer And Trainer of the Year in 2003 ... Was absolutely right about his comment. Lara got robbed hands down... No other way to put that !!!! Another SAD day for boxing. One judge had it 117-111 guaranteeing a win for Canelo. That judge was definitely in the Golden Boy Bag.

i was rooting for lara, but he didn't do enough at all. the mayweather comparison is reaching. floyd took canelo to school, while standing his ground. lara shamefully ran and showed nothing of the sweet science. neither guy did anything special. absolutely boring, disgusting fight.
