Ronnie might be afraid Lara is about to fire his ass after that performance. Shields should have been getting after Lara telling him to go for it because the fight was too close. Lara was in cruise control until the last few rounds and much of that had to do with the crappy advice he was getting from his corner.

Lara would have won this fight if he would have stood his ground a little bit. His offense output should've been higher. His trainer should have been on him to stand his ground like he did with Trout. I was disappointed in Lara's performance and don't want to see him on the big stage on a main event again.
