Both Guys Counterpunching Nullified Last Night

did anyone pick up on this. Neither could counter the other frequently.

Erislandy is an outfighter/counterpuncher while Saul is a boxer-puncher/counterpuncher

yet Saul's educated pressure disrupted Erislandy's countering. Saul couldn't counter because he isn't good at punching on the move forward

yep as decent as Lara did almost none of his landed shots were counter punches. His only real effective shots were 1-2 combinations down the pipe. Canelo much more obviously and comically missed his counter attempts

Lara had chances to counter but never did,, he made canelo miss alot, but just backed away instead of slipping/rolling and firing back counters...

that is why lara is a notch below floyd, hopkins, jmm
