Who else believes Canelo is going back to HBO?

The Showtime commentary was pretty bias toward Lara and Mares both Haymon guys, and Canelo has no contract with Showtime.

I used to like Showtime because the commentators remained neutral now they played the bias game.

Just like Jim Grey he used to make bold claims and not sugar coat, than when Floyd came to Showtime he has been kissing Floyds butt, even had Floyd hugging him before the fight in the ring like Grey was part of the TMT camp wtf?

I never seen Larry Merchant or Max Kellerman hug another fighter right before they entered a fight in the ring.

Showtime has lost their credibility big time.

Was it that biased? The lead commentator (Ranallo?) and Steve Farhood's scorecard was off at times but Malignaggi and Bernstein acknowledged Canelo's work.

I didn't see the Mares fight.

I watched the fight on Boxnation. One the commentators had the fight for Lara and the other for Canelo and the guys in the studio had Canelo winning a close fight. I personally had it 115-113 Canelo.

Need to watch the Showtime telecast to see whether or not they were being biased.

They weren't biased but what went on and the difference of opinion had them on the verge of civil war, it was comical..............

I was just about to make a thread about this. Showtimes bias was especially prevalent in the 10th (i think) when they called it a dramatic comeback round for lara; and he'd only landed a few flicking jabs.

Is Canelo going back to HBO? I have a gut feeling he is.

He will be for the Cotto fight, that I guarantee! More money as well.

What will Showtime have now that Oscar is running the show and is not tied to Showtime and when Mayweather is gone?

I think Hopkins is going back first. Didn't it seem strange that he brought up Kovalev name along with Stevenson? Then Jim kept saying Adonis and Bernard went back to Kovalev and mentioned Atlantic City.

I'm thinking Adonis and Al trying to get more tune ups or marinating before the Hopkins fight. Bernard knows he doesn't have much time left
