Comments Thread For: Groves: Froch Probably Knows He Got Lucky Again

GEORGE GROVES is not giving up hope of fighting Carl Froch for a THIRD time.

Groves, 26, was brutally KO’d in the eighth round by a straight right hand from Froch in front of 80,000 fans at Wembley Stadium in May.

It was Groves’ second stoppage loss to Froch, who profited from a controversial ninth-round win last November.

But the Londoner aims to revive his career by beating France’s European champ Christopher Rebrasse at Wembley Arena on September 20.

        Yawn.

Groves did very little before he got sparked clean in the 2nd fght. Froch got lucky? I guess he got lucky that you fought the wrong fight and slowly but surely let him into range. Nothing lucky about that punch, just ****** boxing from Groves trying to counter a left hook with another left hook and leaving himself wide open to the straight of a hook-straight.

I'm sure he got lucky for a reason, then.

Reminds me of when Paul Williams' trainer tried to downplay the Martinez KO loss. Not a good look.

Get clean outta here Groves, Froch flattened you and made you look like a boy over daddy's knee before the slipper sent him to a world of fantasy and pain. Perhaps, St George, you can find a dragon in that world and slay that instead? Still, you're richer for the efforts and may have generated the biggest grossing, record crowd drawing, British Supermid fight of all time, pity though that you'll be remembered 4 Froch hitting a home run across your face in it though, ******ly quick as well.
