I'll watch it again if they hopefully replay it next weekend. The 117-111 score was bogus, but still Lara just needed to be busier. He had the right idea to fight Canelo, just didn't quite do enough to pull it off. Close but no cigar.

We have no respect for you, I thought he would actually try and box Canelo due to his superior boxing skills, but he basically did the opposite. The only time he actually box was later in the rounds when He looked to have tire out due to Canelo body shots, at that point he actually box well.

Lara will be forgotten in a few years time. No one appreciates his boxing. New boxers will come along and take the spotlight away from him. He's already 31 years old so his time is ticking. Canelo probably has no respect for him either because by age 23 he already accomplished more than Lara ever could.

I'm sure the Cubanas on here will hype him up next, while disrespecting and discrediting every other fighter in the 130 pound division until they fight him, .

I'm a fan of Cuban boxing but for the biggest fight in your career you have to either give more offensively like Whitaker or Rigondeaux, or take some and give sharp, decisive counters back like Floyd, or produce a no mas, SRL, Mr Lara, please make your way clean back to Cuba dawggie.

I have no respect for this guy so let me run not because I'm afraid of his power but because I don't want to give him the benefit of the doubt that I would beat him soundly.

Lara should have listened to that Cuban guy in the restaurant who said fight like a man and make your people proud.
