how many power shots lara had on the fight??
you know that in pro boxing jabs and power shots are not the same right??
you should add a new term to compubox power shots to the head...

Your first mistake is arguing with a guy who is using Compubox numbers (which are notoriously inaccurate as well as an ineffective means for arguing a winner) to make his case.

I don't even know why people still pay attention to that bull****. They must be new to the sport or something and, being new fans, are "wowed" thinking that those numbers are an accurate representation of what transpired or something.

Even if you were, this fight wasn't one of those affairs. Lara landed 10 more total punches than Canelo, according to those stats he seems to put so much stock in. That's not even 1 more punch per round in the grand scheme of a 12 round fight. Pathetic for a supposed "boxing savant."

I think you could easily argue in the top 5 if not that then very near it.
You can't be serious. Canelo still has the same flaws he did before the fight. He foot speed and movement is terrible and he throws 1 shot at a time.

It was a robbery and a draw at best for Canelo. With that said Canelo is the man at 54. Not including Floyd he not really a jr middle.

Im starting to think Canelo Pac. Might be a good fight. Pac would be the man at 54 but it cant be at a catch weight

i wouldn't go so far as to say robbery, but I did think Lara won. During the fight I credited Lara for making Canelo resort to solely body punching bc the head shots weren't hitting, but after I can see that all adjustments made during the fight were on canelo's side and lara did little to improve his standing throughout the fight. I still think Lara is the better boxer and had the beter night, but to beat the champ or the prohibited favorite you have to take the belt and he didn't.

lara was only "robbed" if you can't score a boxing match.

that fight was close. lara only really walked away with the first few rounds. lara was the guy moving away because alvarez was effective when he got close with body shots.

you have to give canelo some credit for being aggressive. you ahve to give him more credit for the body work, because it clearly slowed lara down.

it was a close fight. it's not a robbery.

my issue was with the super wide card. that thign was filled out before the fight started.

                  it's a draw or a robbery?

                  it cannot be both.

Close enough to be a draw, but wide enough to also be declared a robbery.
