Interesting match...throw out the triangular theories... Alvarez isn't a Pressure Fighter (i.e. Angulo) and Lara isn't Floyd... Lara for all his slickness can be hit and outworked... Canelo has shown serious stamina issues and his feet can be stuck in the "mud" in some spots...
Lara for me hasn't put it all together in a fight yet... I thought he beat P-Will but "politricks" prevented him for taking the win & I was less than impressed with the Molina, Vanes M, and Angulo fights...
I believe this will be a FIGHT... Mexico vs Cuba... Division bragging rights... Next boxing superstar... It's a LOT at stake and you have to commend Canelo for seeking out the best challenges...
The bout could go either way, but for some reason I envision a scenario where both men go down at some point in the fight, and a right uppercut late in the fight sends Lara back reeling to the ropes where he will employ the "Turtle shell/ Ear muff" defense leaving his mid-section open for a blistering combo to the body that ends with the left hook that stops the fight... Canelo KO11 Lara!
