I get why people think Ward-Golovkin is a fight that can happen quickly since "Golovkin said he would face anyone."

But Ward is the #2 (or #3) P4P... he shouldn't be looking to fight a Golovkin or Chavez Jr. simply because there are still fans that say these two haven't even beat anyone great yet.. who are their best wins? Macklin and Vera?

Ward should be looking to climb up the ladder and not down. And he fights Stevenson while Hopkins fights Kovalev.. you're in the making for a huge chapter in his career but he doesn't wanna leave 168.
