Actually, this is exactly the kind of fighting Ward likes these days. It only involves talking and never ends up in a boxing ring.

            Umm... what?

Golovkin is fighting Geale who is ranked 2nd, behind Golovkin. Floyd is fighting the #6 ranked WW for his JMW title at the WW limit. Broner ducked Mattyse and will now be fighting TBA, and Ward... has had 1 fight in 2 or 3 years. I still have no clue what you were trying to say but I figured I'd just throw that out there.

Golovkin is the number #1 ranked MW, fighting the #2 ranked MW. Yet somehow people still think he is ducking Lara and Ward, two guys not even in his weight class? The ignorance is strong with boxingscene.

He accuses Chavez's team of protecting him and not letting him fight the best, but Chavez is far from the best fighter Ward can fight. As far as the Golovkin situation, they're doing exactly what Ward did when he turned down Bute, they're waiting for the fight to get bigger as GGG's name gets bigger.

                  ...BWHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Ward is a big name or something? GGG has a much bigger following than Ward, has been much more active and is far more exciting to watch. GGG is fighting 3-4 times a year while Ward seems to fight every 3-4 years, there is no doubt who the bigger name is already.

I don't care who has a bigger following right now, I'm talking about the fight getting bigger. If GGG takes care of business against Geale and maybe one or two more top ranked middleweights, the GGG/Ward fight would be bigger than if they fought today. That's what GGG's promoter is probably banking on.

Why would they fight Ward when them facing Cotto is closer to being made? GGG has all the leverage, but it's Ward asking for the fight and GGG can bypass all he wants because he has many more options. Ward should be building his name to compete with Cotto, Chavez and Froch as GGG could face all three while Ward is commentating missing all those paydays (minus Cotto of course)
