Comments Thread For: Golovkin To Throw Out 1st Pitch At Dodgers Game Sat 7/12

As if having ace Clayton Kershaw in its rotation wasn't enough, the Los Angeles Dodgers have added another powerhouse pitcher to its stable - unbeaten middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin.

The rising boxing star will serve as the guest of honor at Chavez Ravine Stadium in Los Angeles on Saturday, where he will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the start of the Dodgers' home game versus the San Diego Padres. Golovkin is due to throw the first pitch at 6:55PM local time Saturday evening, prior to the 7:10 p.m. start time for the game, the third of a four-game series between longtime in-state rivals. GGGs popularity just keeps on rising

Soon he will be one of the biggest draws In boxing. And obviously being a huge draw directly correlates to your skills level. So this means he is one of the best boxers on the planet. Due to "star power" alone

used to be all fun and games until 50 threw that flop of a pitch, now everyone is under the microscope LOL

He could throw the most brutal punch in history of mankind, but if he can't throw a baseball halfway like a man, he could lose the man card in an instant. oh god, Let it be a strike

GGG's promo team doing a great job penetrating the NY & LA markets. Wouldn't be surprised to see him fight in the new Forum before the year's end
