Comments Thread For: Groves: Bika or Dirrell - I'm Confident of Beating Both!

British super middleweight contender George Groves (19-2, 15KOs) is focused on capturing the World Boxing Council (WBC) middleweight title before the end of the year. On September 20th at Wembley Arena in London, he will face Christopher Rebrasse (22-2-3, 6KOs) in a final WBC eliminator for a crack at the belt.

If Groves wins in September, he will face the winner of next month's rematch between WBC champion Sakio Bika and challenger Anthony Dirrell. They previously fought to a draw and will trade punches for a second time on August 16th at the StubHub Center in Carson, California.

Yeah he always confident... he knew for sure he was going to beat Froch both times.

Then he got KTFO each time.

Groves may win his Rebrasse fight, but Bika or Dirrell would beat him. Dirrell is too fast, and Bika is a whacked out whirlwind of confusion no man would wanna fight.

I like George and wish him the best, but I agree with this post. I'm glad George is jumping back in to the ring as to stay fresh, but almost would have preferred him to take a softer touch. Hopefully he's training hard.
