Comments Thread For: Canelo To Lara: Best Cuban Boxers Learned in Mexico

Over the past few weeks Canelo Alvarez and Erislandy Lara traded barbs over which fighter's country has the better "school of boxing". Lara started the verbal warfare but it appears that Canelo may have won the war of words.

In an interview with BoxingScene.com and Doug Fischer, Canelo, a student of the game, pointed out that Cuban legends Jose Napoles and Sugar Ramos honed their crafts in Mexico after fleeing Cuba in the wake of Fidel Castro's revolution.

Lol he did say he was really hurt by Lara in that interview poor canelo #Bulyingnoesbueno. Who said only Canelo had exclusivity on beating up tomato cans in mexico? Cubans can do it too cans are cans anywhere you fight them . Napoles would fight in a shoe box if need be those guys back then where tough. I think Napoles retired with almost 100 fights.

Canelo doesn't like Lara bullying him, Lara should stop Canelo looks sad.

It's not a lie though. Definitely got the Cuban's butthurt over those comments. Then again that comment came out of butthurt. So much butthurt everywhere in the buildup of this fight. Butthurt butthurt butthurt.

Lara will probably beat the break off Cindanelo then get robbed by the judges since he's all GBP have left in their stable.....
