I don't think so, he is the tallest and has a longer reach and a very good footwork, he is fast too so I don't see garcia closing the distance that easy and will have to eat some leather to do it, bring it on...

Here's what I said about Mendez vs. Barthelemy II:

      a) The first fight was an anomaly - for those who expected a quick knockout this time again -. Mendez was extremely weak on fight-night because he had cut too much weight before.

      b) Mendez is absolutely lost if you force him to come forward and don't give him counterpunching opportunities. Barthelemy had the height and reach to make him uncomfortable and did exactly what he needed to do, even if it wasn't spectacular. Now he's a World Champion and will surely be involved in more exciting fights. Barthelemy vs. Farenas could be a good fight.

Al Haymon has a new World Champion!! lol

I was at the fight and it was clear evident Bartelemi beat this joke with only one hand . Bartelemi looked as if his right hand was hurt , wouldn't trough it with conviction , and still he won the fight . He didn't look good , but won .
          Hope he was hurt .
Anyways , congratulations !!!!! Another Cuban is a champ !!!!!!
Thanks al Haymon !!!!! Jeje .
Now it is Lara's turn on the 12 th and rigondeaux on the 19th !!!!
          Arriva cubaaaaaaaa .
Hit and not get hit , can not hit what you don't see .

Good win for him, Mendez looked like **** in their and at the end when reading the scores was funny, the face he made! Like he thought he was gonna win.

True. There was not much action in the fight and for some moments Barthelemy looked very amateur. Mendez was not active either but made the cuban miss many times. Barthelemy has that kind of lazy jab which only proves that the KO of the first fight was circumstantial. I think it was the right decision but the fight was very far from exciting.

Nope. Barthelemy has a very good sense of distance. There's a reason why he keeps that hand low. If you watch him, he will bring it up when he knows he's within punching range.
