    BoxingScene.com has been advised that a five city press tour will begin next week to promote the rematch between WBC/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (46-0, 26KOs) and Marcos Maidana (35-4, 31KOs), which is taking place on September 13th on Showtime Pay-Per-View. The MGM Grand in Las Vegas will host bout. The fight is a rematch of their May 3rd meeting, which Mayweather won with a tough twelve round majority decision.

          this is more like it. last time maidana wasnt even at the press conference...floyd overslept and literally showed up in his PJs lol

                      Floyd hates these. He's soo on the defensive when he gets onstage.

                      He gets booed from city to city. Terrible experience it has to be.

                          thats not true. Floyd still gets alot of love in some places. Boxing is still way bigger in the Mexican community so when he's facing a guy like Canelo, he's gonna come in a big 2nd most of the time as far as pressers go but in places like where Im from (the dmv), he get mad love here

                                  This is hella true. I was at the presser for Floyd vs. Shane in D.C. and Floyd got hella love there. Imma do all I can to be at the presser here in SATX (the countdown) to show love as well.
