Herrera had the worst possble thing happen to him-he fought damn well against the best in the divison but got robbed by the judges. This means no champ or highly ranked contender will fight him-which means either fight for little money or go to 147 for big money against bigger guys.

Feel bad for this guy and hope danny does the right thing and give him a rematch and a fair payday. Herrera more than earned it. That or showtime needs to reward him for making a crap fight on paper something relevant and watchable.

Sooner or later the champs at 140 will feel the pressure to try and crack Herrera code

Jinx thread in effect. Watch him struggle with Johan Perez now....

Not that I'm rooting against him, in fact I believe he's the true lineal 140 lb. king.

I still haven't seen his fight with Garcia, only parts of it live on TV. Anyone have a link to this fight? And I mean an already embedded video, not something where the download takes forever, doesn't work or is full of spam, etc. Thanks.

Garcia was already outclassed against him

given Broner's low workrate and **** defense Herrera toys with AB.

I could see both Matthysse and Peterson as 50/50 fights.

He's a solid all around fighter, but no boogeyman. I'm pretty sure Khan would pitter-patter him all night for a lopsided UD, and there are many other fighters at 140 and 147 that I would pick to beat him.
