Don't want to be a **** and break up this nice little circle jerk but any semi famous Boxer gets mobbed by people asking for autographs/pictures on fight week or at the fights.

There's a reason boxers are always going to the fights, it's the only place people treat them like stars. I've seen Sam Watson and his chipmunk sons get asked for pictures and autographs at fights.

Even that monkey Elie Seckbach gets mobbed.

Not saying Lara has no fans(He has plenty, especially on this website who don't shut up about him) but that video starts with Juanma Lopez hugging him and a couple other fans asking for pictures.

    Weak sauce.

I know, I was just joking. It's good to see he'll have fan support in Vegas/in the arena.

I'm hyped for this fight btw. Really interesting match up, really good trash talk, and possibly big implications on Golden Boy's future

I have met a fair amount of Cubans in Vegas so maybe a lot of them came out to support him. The only time I saw a lot of Cubans at the fights was when Rigo or Lara fought one of his early pro fights and Casamayor was ringside, it was awhile back but there were a fair amount of Cuban flags.

I have no doubt you're right, but I know what I saw and heard in that vid. Trust me, there were Cubans that made the trip for that fight. I even know one Cuban on this site that made the trip to support Lara. We all know the vast majority of people at the fight will be there for Canelo, but it's nice to see Landy get some love, too.

By the way, Lara is going to embarrass Canelo.

If he beats Canelo on Saturday and his next fight is in Florida i'm sure it will sell a lot.

Excellent response. Lara would be an instant celebrity in South Florida.

i'm not goign to scoff at this, because it's a big fight. lara is a very good fighter.

however, when i was in vegas for mayweather - canelo, there were about 20 times as many people in the lobby. maybe more.

you literally couldn't walk around the casino.

Who says they are his fans?
This is a very big boxing event, its likely just interested casual fans of the sport.
