In a strange twist of fate, former four division world champion Erik Morales will help train welterweight contender Jorge Paez Jr. (37-5-1, 22KOs) for his ring return later in this year.
Morales was scheduled to face Paez on March 22 in Monterrey. He suffered a hand injury as the fight drew close and former champion Vivian Harris stepped in as a late replacement.
