Canelo by 2-rounds plus a knock down. 3-points. Canelo owned most of the last half of the fight.

Havent watched it simce it aired but I think I had its draw if I remember wouldn't have had a problem with Canelo up a round with the KD,

Not saying Trout was overly impressive but Canelo was really inactive for large parts of that fight if I remember correctly and Trout out worked him. 118-110 was a joke though hopefully Lara gets a fair shake when they fight.

I haven't watched it in a while but I felt Canelo won a close but clear decision. The official scorecards put a damper on Canelo's biggest win. Open scoring is horrible for the sport.

If there is one thing, it is that the compubox stats certainly favour trout, after all he did outland Canelo, scoring more jabs and only one less of his power punches.

Trout self admittedly said the better man won that night in the post-fight interview. That pretty much sums it up

He threw over 200+ punches than Canelo and outlanded him by 40 total punches. Mainly jabs. He landed his punches at a whopping 21%.

He looked like **** for most of the fight, like a fighter trying to salvage a fight he was losing. For whatever reason you wanna account it for, open scoring whatever.

Sorry I have a lot to say about this fight because I can't see how anyone can have Trout winning. It was definitely a close fight, but a clear victory for Canelo in a fight where the meaningful punches were landed by Canelo.

he knew how inneffective and few his landed punches were, no doubt he was still feeling alvarez's punches tho

That fight is very similar to Garcia-Herrera but with Garcia having one knockdown and 40k mexicans screaming at every one punch landed to the 5 recieved.Malignaggi-Broner is probably the best fight to compare it to with trout being unable to hurt him his punches meant nothing in the eyes of the biased posse

I'm not dis*****g that Canelo won, but the only official score that's good is 115-112.

Trout also said later that he felt the fight was a draw. If you can't see how open scoring affected that fight then geeeez

Nah, I'm sure it did. I'd love to see a rematch.
