algieri is all these things. he is an american hero and true rocky story.

i don't understand this hate for algieri. he proved his worth by stepping into fire against provo. he deserves respect.
nothing wrong with algieri, but he is not on maidanas level yet, is too early for algieri to get a pac fight... let him develop, at this time he barely got thru provo and that is not enough to beat pac, if the bradley match was one sided what can you expect from this one?

Both fights suck, both have to retire. Theres nothing left, they should focus on promoting. Pacman vs Algeri has potnetial to be a snoozefest if Chris cant take Pacquiaos punch, mayweather Maidana will be interesting for 4 rounds lol.

I'd really love to see what these Pacquiao fans that say this is a fresh , interesting fight would say if it was May weather that was fighting him. I think we all know, but still.

Very obviously Mayweather/Maidana. Even if the first fight never happened.

floyd v maidana is the far better matchup.

At least w/ Algieri...we get Mr. Tassles
Yes, and Maidana will be robbed on the scorecards even if he deserves to win.

Floyd will even make Maidana wear gloves with extra padding to be sure he doesn't get hurt!

Floyd's fights are not interesting. He just runs and pitty-pats for decision wins and doesn't have the courage to try to KO his opponents, unless he sees the chance for a sucker punch.
