I think that Antonio Margarito will be the next big thing if he gets the right fight at Welter. Although he probably won't be around too much longer. Jhonny Gonzales and Rafael Marquez also have the size and power to rule their division and possibly even super bantamweight, for a while.

As soon as they quit babying Julio Cesar Chaves Jr. and giving him 'Tamato cans' mostly from the Mid-Western circuit, this kid could become big. They should really test him with more par competition. There no way this kid is gonna get any better fighting guys with 40 to 50% win rates. Improving his defense wouldn't hurt either, I've seen everyone of his fights and I'm not impressed, he leaves himself wide open for counter shots. In one of his fights, what should have been a loss, was a ludicrous draw. It was held in Monterrey, Mexico against a fighter who held a 9-1 record, the crowd even booed the decision. This fighter clearly had a more accurate work rate and landed cleaner punches than Chaves Jr. I believe this was his toughest test up to date.

Alejandro (Terra) Garcia is one of the guys y'all forgot to mention, and he owns one of the belts already. It is kind of sad cuz he was going to unify with Roman Karmazin and because of some money issues the fight did'nt happen. It would of been a nice fight to see.
