Unlike Ward though Mikey has a back up plan. IIRC Mikey is ready or plans to be certified to be a cop, boxing wasn't supposed to be his career.

There will definitely be ring rust. I don't think any amount of sparring and training can keep you in fight shape like fighting. That isn't to say he won't win whenever he gets back in the ring but ring rust is probably inevitable with a long lay off. We've seen it happen to much better fighters than Mikey.

He can win his case and when he does hes going where the big money fights are! At the end of the day he just wants to fight, while bob wants to keep him inactive like he was with rigo!its a damn shame arum has no significant fight for these guys in his stable.

You do know that Arum can throw money and lawyers at it to make it take forever, and just keep extend it and that's how this things usually play out its not about who wins it's a war of attrition and Arum has the time and money to bury any fighter long enough to end his career. It's a no win scenario for Mikey this way literally.

Man, Bob has nothing to do with that and everybody will see it when and if Rigo leaves Top Rank. If HBO doesn't want to air him, why would Showtime unless he's with Haymon and he makes Espinoza bow down to him?

You have no clue of what you are talking about, you only speculate from what you hear from his haters....you dont know the politics of pro boxing and what it takes to make a fight of that magnitude... you negotiate, and from what ive heard from mikey himself...gamboa priced himself out, mikey ducked no one!
