Close fight, but I’ll take Broner by a very close decision.

This is the epitome of a 50/50 fight. It all depends to me on how broner takes Lucas' power. If he rages it well, he should pretty much win a close ud. I hope it happens great fight.

He's fighting on 9/6, so not on Floyd's PPV

Anyway boxrec also says: "bout subject to change & commission approval".
Maybe its just throwing **** against the wall and hoping it sticks? Either way I hope this is true and props for Broner for taking on this fight. As much as I like Matthysse and how I'd like to see Broner do the bootydew I think it's a tough one to call.
Broner definitely has the hand speed advantage over Matthysse but he's still too flat footed for his style. In his last showcase fight he was still getting tagged by shots a fighter of his athleticism shouldn't be getting hit with. Fortunately he was getting hit by a featherfisted fighter.
Another thing is Matthysse is a more polished boxer than Madiana so I wonder how that's going to play, since Maidana did use his awkwardness to his advantage.
