Of course he was in a brawl, thats what happens when you stand and trade with a guy who has an 80% KO ratio. Did you expect him to look comfortable trading? Maybe he didn't like the low blows and knees he was receiving lol. If the man says he's going to do something and then does it how can you say he didn't infact plan to do that? Get real guys

He said he was going to stand and trade, and that's exactly what he did. Floyd is the only fighter that can't seem to please his haters no matter what he does. SMH.

Mayweather fights to win the easiest way he can. He doesn't give a damn about the fan's viewing pleasure. He never did and he never will. Where was his interest in entertaining the fans when he fought that dull hit and run fight with Baldomir?????

This was posted more than a week before the fight. Watch the video and have nice day

Said it before the Hatton fight too.

Since Cotto; if Floyd isn't fighting a guy in cement boots (Guerrero, Canelo) he's fighting a fight he normally wouldn't.

Here is hoping if the rematch happens the B rated fighter who Khan beat much more convincingly puts the beating on Floyd one more time but only with proper fair judging and not a ref who will blow Floyd off all night lol
Need to watch out for Floyds dirty tactics if we're going into this debate, Maidana destroyed Floyd with the inside game.
              Mayweather lost to maidana lol..

There were times in the fight when Mayweather was going back to the ropes of his own accord without being pushed back. Whether it's because he hasn't got the legs anymore or whether he just thought he could handle Maidana off the ropes, only he knows.

Still thought he won pretty comfortably and will most likely do a much more convincing job in the rematch.

You really think a multimillionaire who with a self preserving mindset deliberately chose to lay on the ropes to ''please da fanz'' against a guy with an 80 something KO ratio?

Well he did say the same thing vs Cotto as well. I guess we will see in the rematch. I think it was obvious he stayed in the pocket just to put on a show but people will say otherwise. If he boxes Maidana then people say it was a boring fight, if he actually fights Maidana and stay in the pocket then people will still bad mouth him if he doesn't damage or knock that opponent out. Not a big fan of his but the man is a very great fighter. He makes odd choices in his career but he is still a great fighter.
