You need both, but losing fights isn't going to get you anywhere in boxing well... most of the time.

Look, I enjoy trash talking leading up to my fights but at some point you just have to shut up, at least that's how I feel. I'm doing it now myself, (stopping the trash talk) but at some point hearing it over and over makes it lose its appeal. Lara has now reached that point with me, the same way Sergio did leading up to his fight against Cotto it wasn't over the line, it was just over saturated. He used it to get the fight, that is absolutely correct, but his skills got him to where he is today and that is facing a legitimate superstar.

I'm not sure who will win, but I am going to have to favor Lara based off of styles but I'm not sure. Canelo beats up on the smaller guys coming forward, but I think he prefers to counter and fight at his own pace. Lara is simply better at disrupting the other fighters timing and keeps them off of a rhythm which is vital to Canelo. Still it's a toss up, I think Lara will win but I was pretty neutral going into this fight in terms of who to cheer for but now I'm hoping he eat his words with Canelo's fists.
