I wish the Boxing community had more knowledge on how the weight cutting process worked. Check out a dude called Mike Dolce and see what he's doing for MMA fighters right now. It's awesome, they always make weight and are eating/drinking all the time whilst still dropping weight. It's insane how they've perfected it pretty much. A lot of it came from wrestling where they cut HUGE amounts of weight at short notice. You have guys like Sonnen cutting from 235 to 185 in not a huge time and Hendricks from 220 to 170.

How is this awesome? Why would anybody advocate this type of behavior?


It's bad as it is already, but if this became the norm in boxing I would fully support boxers to reinforce rehydration clauses in their contracts to protect themselves.

Someone brought that "inside" story that Canelo was acting like Chavez Jr. not training properly missing sessions and he didn't spar. The report was that Saul was about 14 pounds above limit with less than 2 weeks to go. So far, it looks as it is false or exaggerated. We'll know for sure this coming Friday but I hope both fighters don;t give any advantage by missing contracted weight.

Simple i think it will be an exciting fight while dale thinks that lara will outbox canelo and fight his normal fight which is cautious.. whoever predicts the type of fight that breaks out WINS!

But than what happens if the fight starts off as a brawl but than Lara readjusts and boxes Canelos ears off for 6 rounds? Than who would win?
