lol Even Rigo's biggest detractors admit he has crazy skills. That's what stokes the argument. Should Guille be watched, because he's so skilled? Or should he be ignored, because he's so "boring?"

The easiest way to spot a casual is if the say Rigo boring like that's the rule means they never watched past his last couple of fights sure he can cruise and get bored and be unappealing happy with getting the W against guys who dont want to even try to win, but if you seen him coming up on those ESPN cards or overseas when he traveled to take the title from Casey or even on the Showtime crappy undercards that real hardcore fans watch and nobody else does meaning 95% of his career you know the rule is he destroys people, he scored his first knock down 19 seconds into his pro debut for fks sake.

If they had seen him they would know what happens to guys that come to fight with Guillermo Rigondeaux they would know why guys loose their balls against him if you throw anything you are putting your ass and liver on the line every time.

        Release the cracken!!!!!

Rigo hits hard. I don't think even many hardcore fans understand just how hard. It makes his opponents shy. And Guille, being a confirmed counterpuncher, waits for them to attack...and waits, and waits. It often turns into a staring contest.

Oh, well, whatever. This "Rigo is boring shit" is old. Some guys bring it up like it's a never-before-mentioned bit of insight. lol

I notice you call me a casual without quoting me lol. Rigo in fact does everything you said, I never said he didn't. But who exactly are the guys he KO'd? ****ing Rico Ramos lmao... He stepped up against Donaire and Agbeko, obviously he didn't KO him but they respected his power. Now, the next step should be move up in weight to keep fighting "names" right? How did this guy get the ****ing Floyd treatment? Move up mother ****er, prove yourself show a ****ing sack for christ sake. Donaire moved up, Vic moved up a lot of small guys moved up... Manny did but Rigo is just so good he doesn't have to I guess. Dood can't draw **** to flies but his fans give him the Floyd treatment... at least Floyd moves up in weight.

I guess you just gave up the point now the 5'3 guy sucks because he wont move up from his natural weight? People have this misconception everyone should be like Manny and everyone has to move up, not everyone is built the same some guys although few fight at their real weight they are not like most that drain themselves and look like zombies just to squeeze advantage over smaller guys. Just look at Rigondeaux ffs he looks like a fking tank at 122 and rehydrates to 126.

The point is to challenge yourself... Cotto just fought at MW are you telling me that is natural for him? Mayweather is fighting at 154 he is a natural WW, Manny is fighting at 147 he is a natural JWW. I'm stating if you want to claim you are the best, prove it. Donaire insanely underestimated him but still a great win for Rigo and Agbeko wasn't very good in the first place, Rigo really has 1 solid win under his belt. Apparently asking a guy to be in tougher fights, which makes me fans of a fighter over cherry picks, is too much ask.

Agbeko wasn't really good now? Go tell that to Mares he is listed twice as the best guy he has ever faced and gone life and death with . Donaires was #3 p4p when Rigo made him look like a child thats more than "solid" at 12 fights. Now with 13 fights he should go up to prove what exactly? That he can blow up and beat bigger guys via UD at 126 ? The only real reason he should move up is if none of the "best" at 122 has the ballz to step up and at least try .

Mares is good now all of sudden? Didn't he get sparked recently like Donaire? There was a ton of hype behind Donaire, I was riding the wagon too but looking back he was matched up very well and is a one dimensional fighter. He is a stalking counter-puncher and is all he does, he went in there against a better counter puncher and lost.

This is the problem with you anyway, I won't lump all Rigo fans in with you. I give the guy praise and it's not good enough for you. So I'm done with the thread, I've given him a lot of credit but apparently because I don't want to suck his assh*le like you do my opinion is invalid. You know who else was ranked #3 P4P and someone put him to sleep? Paul Williams and just like Donaire he truly didn't deserve to be rated that high but it happens. So yes, Rigo has one solid win under his belt, lets all make him #1 ATG. Anyway, like I said I am done with this thread.
