Hard to say GGG is the new cash cow when he has yet to headline even one PPV. He generates a lot of interest and does good numbers when it's free, but so do a good amount of guys. PPV is different. Also, there's no way in the world Ward should agree to come down in weight. He's established. Look at his resume. GGG is nowhere near that.
Golovkin is becoming the new cash cow of the sport behind Floyd/Pac/Cotto/Canelo... besides these guys he is soon to be the man to face if you want that pay day..
If Ward wants a big fight he should move to 160 and test his greatness with Golovkin...
Golovkin doesn't need to move up he's a big star now, the future king of 160..
Ward says Golovking is ducking him well if he's really that keen on a big fight he should go down to 160 and challenge the middleweight king.
Ward can't get to 160 lbs. He walks around at 180 lbs. I like Ward but he is committing career suicide by suing Goosen and refusing to take BIG fights like Chavez,Froch, Stevenson, GGG, or KOvalez.
Obviously, Ward can move to LHW but has been refusing to do so.
He wants to dictate terms when he is not the $$$.
Not going to well for Andre and I am a fan of his.
It's called prize fighting and all the above are the money right now. Ward is the better fighter but doesn't bring the cash like the above do.

I agree.
If Ward and HBO got Chad Dawson to come down to his weight of 168, then to be fair he should fight GGG at 160.
GGG is the one with something to prove not Ward. TS is the same kind of person that would say Floyd, Broner, or Danny Garcia should move up 5 weight classes to challenge the toughest challenge there.
What did Ward have to gain from beating a weight drained Chad Dawson and... Edwin... ??? Rodriquez??
Think thats his name.
That's not my point, Dawson was trying to de-thrown the more accomplished fighter in Ward, so he was willing to take the disadvantage of giving up weight to possibly obtain the greater goal of knocking off the super middle weight kingpin. And once again, Edwin was an undefeated prospect trying to knock off the King at 168. Ward did not go chasing either of those guys.
So with that being said, why would Ward go chasing anyone at a weight class below him that lacks the credentials of beneficiary?
It just doesn't make any sense unless GGG was a cash-cow, or a more accomplished fighter.
