I think he doesnt look that old, for me he looks like in his late 20s/early 30s...maybe people think hes older cause of his weird face/head-shape and cause he is always kind of mean muggin...also i think he became depressive at his time in Cuba, life is hard over there and that depression in combinaton with the hot & hard life and dozens of cigarettes + rum you will eventually look older...

He was born in 1980 and (as far as I've been able to establish) won his first Olympic Gold on the day of his 20th birthday (Sept 30th - not a bad birthday present I guess) - unless you've got wind of some kinda bizarre conspiracy to conceal his true age I can't really see why you'd question this.
