He makes fighters money and gives them exposure. Oh the horror.
Thats why this article is so problematic despite being very well written. Hauser isn't focusing on the fact that the fighters he advises, expanding showtime and NBC platform, and the fact he gets fighters more money would all be good for boxing. He's basically upset that Al doing this would benefit Al financially and make him more powerful.

Uh-why does Bob do what he does-to make money and gain more influence. Is it only wrong when Haymon does it? When GBP or Main events get a deal with Foxsports or NBCsports-is that a bad thing? Of course not.

Hauser, as with the rest of the boxing extablishment, have decided the smear campaign is the best way to chip away at the power Haymon has amassed. WHy not just build a better business model?

Sorry, but all this reads is sour g****s over a new face amassing power in the sport-and NO, the problem isn't because Haymon is an "outsider". The fact tht he may get all those NBCsports dates and some on the main network tells me why Kathy Duva has been so critical.

AL still deserves criticism for being a small part of the crap ODH/GBP have coming August 9th. After that I hope he uses his stable and ability to get dates to put together great fights on a consistent basis. If he doesn't, then he will rightly deserve criticism.
Its cause Haymon is black. White folks don't like HNICs. And right now Haymon is THEE HNIC.

Hauser didn't say one opinionated piece about Haymon, he didn't even say anything bad about Haymon, all he did was give a timeline of what he's done and what he's trying to do.

Learn to read. you Haymon stans are getting defensive for no freaking reason. Because you cant freaking read.

The scary smart comment really annoyed me. Hauser is too experienced and talented to have included that to charachterize him.

All accusations so far on Haymon....but from here on out get ready for mismatches on showtime....There will be some sort of down fall but when, who knows like this end of the cold war between TR and GBP aint over...I don't see any good thing but mismatches coming out look at these August bouts there ridiculous...besides canelo vs lara which was set up by Richard sheafer before he split...

why is my evaluation of the article termed defensive? because I raised an issue with it?

To make Haymon's busness venture some kind of nefarious plot to overthrow boxing is a little much for me.

Scary smart isn't a disrespectful term.

It's saying he's so smart, he might just be good enough to do whatever he wants, which is scary to everyone in the sport who will be left out.

There have been so many articles on Pacmans tax problems are you hiding under a rock lol? different media outlets covered it already, heck Fight hype was writing articles on Arum and Pac tax problems. Everyone knows Arum is screwing Pac, boxers getting short money from their managers promoters been going on for a long time, but its nothing that should matter to a boxing fan or their opponent. But this article basically reveals the reason for the fight not happening and its mastermind is Al haymon who wants a monopoly on the sport similar to UFC.

This is a good article because it gives us an insight on the mysterious Al Haymon, which there is very few info about.

It seems like you just don't want anyone to write anything about Floyds guys. stop being biased man.
