    Chagaev-Oquendo rematch

Some sources are reporting the WBA will order a rematch, because the scorecards were close.

It would be better for boxing if they gave someone else (perhaps Carlos Takam, Vyacheslav Glazkov or the winner of Perez-Jennings) a shot at Chagaev's WBA belt.

I agree. What's more ridiculous, however, is that Ruslan, should he sit on this meaningless strap, will get a mandatory shot at Wladimir.

I wouldn't be surprised if Haye targeted Ruslan for this exact reason.

Only way you see a rematch is if David Haye is not ready, WBA just wanted Haye to have an easy comeback fight

HW boxing suffers because of crap fights like this. There is plenty of exciting young talent in the division but a fights like this just turn people off. I tried watching this fight and had to immediately turn it off due to the nausea it induced

Guys like Glazkov, Perez, Jennings, Wilder, Takam, Fury, Ortiz should be getting a crack at this title, not washed up Oquendo and Chagaev

An Australian boxing journalist says Lucas Browne may have a shot at Chagaev if he wins his Aug 1 fight.

                  Grantlee Kieza @GrantleeKieza
@bigdaddybrowne1 likely to challenge Ruslan Chagaev after August 1 fight in England.

                  I hope so. I don't want to see Oquendo-Chagaev II or Haye-Chagaev.

Guys like Glazkov, Perez, Jennings, Wilder, Takam and Fury are all busy sitting on their impending shots at the IBF,WBC and Fury taking the path of least resistance against Chisora for the WBO international belt in the hope he gets a mandatory title shot.
