Yea just like Floyd gave Canelo a shot. You probably think it was the other way around but your love for Canelo doesn't allow you to see things clearly. and Canelo still had the option whether to take the fight or not. In fact at the press conference of which you speak of,when Canelo asked the media if they wanted the fight Decubas was the only one who answered. Oscar not wanting the fight doesn't mean Canelo doesn't neither lol. Look at Canelo vs Trout, no one wanted the fight but Canelo went and got it to prove his point. SO yeah, he had a choice to turn it down since that Lara conference crash was really ineffective with the media, in fact it was cringe worthy but hey, it did piss Canelo off and thus driven by pride he accepted the fight to tame "Lara"(I think it's Decubas Jr's work to be honest) down. I'm just glad the fight is made and it's happening soon. That way we know who is number 1 at 154 and the fans can finally pipe down on both ends.

Lets be clear that at the end of the day Canelo does deserve credit for this fight also. Canelo is putting a lot on the line against a very dangerous opponent. All am arguing is why the hate on Lara for pressuring to make this fight happen cause lets be honest here, Canelo would have never opted to fight Lara with out the fight being pressured to him(Canelo).

We need to support the likes of Lara, Rigo, and Thurman. This are some of the few guys chasing the best. I understand the realities of those at the bottom seeking the biggest fights when theres less to risk, but once on top fighters become more calculated for preservation then reaching new hights. It happens to almost all fighters sadly. It happen with Manny, Carl, and now Danny. Fighters which supposedly were figthing for pride and honor. That's a fairy tale. That's why us fans need to stop supporting divas if we want to see real fights.
