IBF middleweight champion Sam Soliman will be an interested party in the upcoming HBO televised fight between WBA/IBO middleweight king Gennady Golovkin (29-0, 26KOs) and former two-time champion Daniel Geale (30-2, 16KOs), which takes place on July 26th at New York's Madison Square Garden.
Soliman says if Geale continues to move, and doesn't do anything careless in the ring to put himself in harm's way by standing in front of Golovkin, he can box his way to victory. Soliman, fresh from his big decision victory over Felix Sturm, is hoping to face the Golovkin-Geale winner next. If Geale gets the upset, a unification with Soliman would be a huge fight for Australian boxing.
