Angulo was able to land on Lara cause he fought like el perro! He didn't back down until his eye got swollen from the straight left hand. I don't make excuse about the ring and all that even if it was a small ring. Angulo just fought how he normally does and landed his shots. With that said, I don't think Canelo does well with slick boxers and I'm not saying he won't land by any means necessary but I don't think he will catch Lara good enough to put him down or out. I do believe Canelo will land his shots but nothing that will be a game changer.

Exactly. Angulo walks people down. That takes it's toll on fighters. Canelo doesn't fight the slightest bit like that....you can't compare the two!

The people that make out Lara to be like Floyd are mistaken, he dosnt have any defence at all like Floyd. Angulo was a come forward guy with no head movement and was able to connect Lara and drop his ass multiple times, Canelo is better in very aspect, but his going to have to be smart when attacking, Canelo has better power than Angulo that would surely put him on his ass or lights out if he don't see it coming with the great fast combos from Canelo when they connect.

Canelo is a limited hype job who will be once again exposed. Canelo gasses and can't handle boxers who box and use constant movement. If Lara fights the fight he fought against Trout and not the one he fought against El Perro, he'll win easily. It'll be a 12 round shut out. I'm predicting Lara to easily outbox Canelo and the fight to not be competitive.

People should really go back and look at the Trout - Canelo fight again. Trout threw more but he hit the air a lot and didn't land anything effective. Canelo wasn't able to hit him with a lot of combos but the punches he did land were far superior to the punches that Trout landed. That is why he won the fight.

Lara is not the defensive genius that Mayweather is and Canelo even hit him with some good shots. I know that is not popular theme. Everything Mayweather hit Canelo with was soft and easily brushed off, but even Mayweather said he still feels a left hook that Caenlo landed after the Maidana fight

Canelo was not a come straight ahead guy against Trout or Mayweather. He generally advances with caution. But his head movement is very good and his hand speed is very good. He is a developing fighter in terms of cutting movers off.

I hardly see a shut-out for Lara. He will be in range enough. I don't know if he'll stand still for the 5-6 punch combo but he'll be there enough to get hit hard. I think banking on Canelo being the hype job and gassing out is going to seen as spurious. I think Canelo will drop Lara and beat this braggart.

When your opponents can't hit you hard enough (Mayweather, Trout) or often enough (Angulo), it makes for a different kind of fight than dealing with a fast, hard puncher. Lara punches hard and accurately enough to disrupt anything Alvarez might try to do. This will be Canelo's hardest fight. Floyd might've beaten him more convincingly, but Landy will make him feel his blows hard and often. It won't be easy for either man.

Isn't it ironic that the fans of a guy who once refused OST to fight the biggest fight since Ali vs. Frazier, and was trained by Ariza, who has been caught once with Rios, and is accused by Freddie Roach of being "shady," are the same fans to accuse everyone of using PEDs? Let Canelo think he can walk through Lara's punches have people not seen how he messed up trout face worse than Canelo ? Not mentioning the Angulo face deconstruction surgery he did, that man is done, but thats what it takes to "walk " after Lara is teeing of. If Canelo forgoes defense the new Ginger will look like this.
