Canelo is big and strong. If he focuses on the body like Shane Mosley did, he could slow down Margarito and cruise to a UD or late stoppage.

Cotto has excellent footwork and Margarito slowly and surely caught up to him - at 147 I don't see where Canelo could buy time to battle thru his stamina issues against that sort of Marg. At 154, Margarito no longer had the bounce in his step that he had at lower weights, and certainly not after the beating Pac put on him. At 154, a 23 year old or up Canelo would ****ing paste Margarito. Tony was a monster and WW but his size advantage was a big deal, at 154 he wasn't nearly as good a fighter, and Canelo would be too big and strong for him to muscle around.

Why is anyone even bringing up Margarito. Anyone who gets caught with plaster in there wraps automatically gets a question mark behind there whole fighting history.

You should have made it multiple choice and added Margarito with plaster and without. Assuming is Margacheato without the cheato then I have to go with Raggedy Ann here.
