I like Margarito and Canelo is my favorite young fighter. Margarito did his best fighting at 147. He had an iron jaw and great stamina and could easily average 100 good punches a round. He would give anybody a hard fight including Canelo. Canelo also has a very good chin and he could take Margarito's power. Canelo is faster than Margarito and he punches harder than Margarito. Canelo is a much better boxer than Margarito both on offense and defense. He would win a clear UD.

What makes you think Canelo would quit? Has he ever shown even the slightest sign of quitting in his career of well over 40 pro fights since he was a 15 year old kid? Wait until the Lara fight is over and see if you still think Margarito beats him and makes him quit.
