The coveted NABA title lol. It should get him in the Top 15, but he shouldn't be allowed to fight for a vacant belt.

If Chagaev wanted to fight for the vacant WBA 'Regular' title, why isn't he fighting Luis Ortiz? Too dangerous maybe.

Briggs has a better chance to beat Chagaev than Oquendo did. To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if Briggs knocked him out.

Briggs went 12 rounds just ONE week ago so he should be in shape.

German promoter Rainer Gottwald has posted the following on his Facebook page:

“For Alexander Petkovic a dream come true! On July 6 in Grozny, Russia he’s boxing against Ruslan Chagaev for the WBA heavyweight championship. This is a surprise, you never would have thought. We have our fingers crossed for Alexander. Chagaev will have to go through hell to win. Yesterday we confirmed that Oquendo is not boxing and Alex gets the chance. So, keep your fingers crossed.”
