Jacobs is a good fighter but was destroyed by Korobov in the amateurs. 300-12 amateur record.
Why wouldn't Korobov be able to get a license in New York?

Jacobs is not a perfect fighter, but he is good. Although I cannot guarantee he would beat Quillin if they ever fought, I would lean in his favor. There is something that separates Jacobs far from Quillin though, and that is Jacobs is hungry and wants to fight.

Jacobs is a good guy, who had to step over many serious roadblocks and obstacles. Quillin likes to think he "Inspires" people, but Jacobs is the one who deserves that distinction.

IF and it's a big if the Korobov fight happens Quillin will likely lose. Koro is solid, no slouch and Kid Choc is overhyped. Quillin has good power in his hands and can take a punch but he does not have the necessary tools to make those two attributes count. He will get beat the second he fights a good smart fighter. Doesn't even have to be a heavy handed one or an athletic marvel, Quilliin will get beat by a solid blue collar fighter.

Danny Jacobs better count his steps. Quillin will flatten him like Pirog did.
