The fight takes place at the Vodafone Events Centre in Manukau City, New Zealand. The interim-PABA and WBO Oriental titles will be at stake. The fight is scheduled for twelve rounds, but none of Parker's opponents have been able to last more than seven. In his last fight, Minto upset New Zealand favorite Shane Cameron with a seventh round TKO.
