Liverpool’s Paul Smith 35-3 (20) announced on Ringside earlier this evening that his challenge for Arthur Abraham’s WBO Super-Middleweight title is almost signed, sealed and delivered.

Smith, 31, faces a major step-up in class when he takes on the two-weight world champion on Sept. 27, in Germany, at a venue to be confirmed. Smith insists he is full of respect for Abraham 40-4 (28) but is going to grasp the opportunity with both hands.

I expect Abraham to win this. I like Abraham, he's not the most talented guy but he's tough as hell and has a big right.

Would like to see Mikkel Kessler get a shot at Arthur Abraham and his belt sometime in the future if Abraham gets by Smith. That could be a good scrap.

The sauerlands are at it again. They make their champs fight easy opponents. Smith is not even a European level fighter. British level at best. He was stopped by groves and degale. Abraham punches harder than both of them. Andre ward said abraham has bricks in both hands. Abraham stops him inside 6 rounds.

It's crazy that Paul Smith is actually fighting for a world title before Chunky Degale who Degale destroyed and toyed with Smith nearly 4 years ago. Cong**** on the shot and do well for yourself on the night.
