          Mike is fresh blood in promoting. Boxing can use him, it might need him. Old rivalries are getting in the way of good fights.

                              After his defection from Cuba, he had to wait 8 years before he could enter the U.S. and turn pro. I think he defected in the early 2000's. He lost 8 years of his prime and he's now 35 year-old with only 13 pro fights...

                              Stevenson and Kovalev are fighting guys like Agnew, Fonfara and Caparello, so they could give him a title shot and it will hardly be a step down.

                                  Kovalev would annihilate this guy.

                                  According to Boxrec, Savigne's one loss was by knockout, and it was to a bum. Imagine what Kovalev would do to him.

                                      Exactly. What would we expect him to say as a promoter? Lessons well learned from King, Hearn, Arum...etc.
