no pacquiao will always been seen as a sports icon hero.

8 world titles in 8 divisions, fighter of the decade, beloved by the world.

even after pac got KO'ed people still love him. mark wahlberg mentioned him during his MTV award speech and everyone cheered pacquiao's name. pac will never die.

we should all be glad to have witnessed such a warrior, hero, and great ambassador of the sport of boxing.

He didn't ruin his legacy, but just about everything his fans wished on Floyd ended up happening to Pacquiao instead. Getting KTFO, being in way more serious tax trouble, allegedly being near broke while still active (a remarkable feat). Pac's legacy was set before the welterweight run. Funnily enough, the part most sensationalized and that gained him the most fame is the weakest part of his ridiculously strong resume.

Same for fliyd in that aspect. His best win and his best latest win was vs corrales.

                  Since then.. picking and choosing
Who when and where and paying people off in court and paying people off to wear pillows for your health.

Yeah thats legacy.. he knows when to pick them.

In the future nobody is going to be able to say Floyd's or Manny's name without the other name being mentioned at some point in the conversation.
