No one wants the fight to fail. it's a good card. It's just hard to see how it does well given the numbers we've seen so far and the fact the shakeup at gbp has hurt the marketing/promotion of this fight.

I'm gonna watch for sure. I hope it does well but I don't know. I think if this was a SCB/WCB card it would draw exceptionally well.

Alvarez’s domination of fellow Mexican Alfredo Angulo (22-4, 18 KOs) on March 8 in Las Vegas was the main event of the first of those five pay-per-view shows. It drew nearly 400,000 buys, which exceeded expectations even of those at De La Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions and Showtime Sports, the distributor of the Alvarez-Angulo and Alvarez-Lara cards.

It'll do big numbers, Canelo actually has a decent fanbase...

You are probably right, but i just hear people say this fight wont do good when its the best fight of the year (on paper) and a very nice undercard. I will be ordering it also, im excited for it.

I agree! We all should order it and support. Probably the best match up we get this yr. Its an even fight and I hope it deliveres. Only thing I can think of that's better than this is Danny Garcia vs Sharrod Ralka.

The card is pretty well stacked it should do good numbers. Canelo has a great loyal fan base why would anyone not buy it?

i think as long as canelo keeps winning his ppv numbers will only get better, his last fight did good considering he and Angulo were coming off losses,i don't care who he faces people will pay to watch him,he's facing a guy with a few fans and some people don't even know who he is,never heard of him,i'm talking about the casual fans here, they ask me who's canelo fighting? is he any good? the usual questions but they get the fight because it's canelo fighting,so he'll keep on doing good as long as he keeps winning
