I don't think anybody beats mayweather in a rematch, even if they beat him convincingly the first time.

If you give a master tactician like him a first hand view of how you fight, he's going to use that information to destroy you. If all it takes for him to figure out a fighter is a few rounds, imagine what he can do with that information over a 2 month training camp.

but the twist now is that both floyd and maidana are haymon's boys...

You can be a master what ever you think you are to be, but when you fight a guy like Maidana who knows how to cut the ring off in corners aggressively, now you have to fight and take some hard wild shots. Why do you think Floyd made so much noise about the gloves? He knows that his defense was going to look bad, very penetratable and get bloody. Blueprint in progress.

Hopefully it gets ironed out right now. It's not so much about which gloves they both end up agreeing to wear, it's more about trying to eliminate the possibility of the last minute mind games this time around.

In the first post you are bragging that the A-side gets to pick (and that's their advantage being the A-side). Second post you are shocked that some say Floyd got an unfair advantage!!!

Now since you talked about this in details lets talk about the reality and I hope you can real and live with it ... Floyd get advantages in every single fight by picking the time & place to the battle, picking ring size and the type of gloves that suits his style of boxing (boxers gloves rather than punchers gloves).

Floyd doesn't get advantages in every fight. Floyd wanted to wear 8oz gloves in the Cotto fight. But since Cotto was the defending champion, the glove size was his call. He opted for both fightets to wear 10oz gloves. Floyd wanted to wear 8oz Grants in the DLH fight. Oscar made him wear 10oz Reyes. Its part of the game. Like I said. If you've been following boxing long enough and aren't just a Floyd hater. You'd know that its a relatively new rule that both fighters can wear the brand of gloves of his choosing in championship/high profiled fights.

I trust that in case Cotto will agree to fight Floyd for the lineal MW belt, Floyd would let Cotto use his "illegal" Everlast MX gloves in the photo.
