    His younger brother did the same thing a few years latter winning two gold medals and was never defeated. Not sure how many bouts he was in but to win two gold at the Olympics is very impressive. Two brothers who knew how to win.

        the amateurs were for kids back then. they still should be for kids, but you can't tell a bolshevik what to do.


        you think muhammad ali would have had trouble winning gold medals if he had stayed an amateur? the goat HW would have boxed the doors off of those teenagers.

              The guy was British and won his medals in 1920 and 1924 who the hell boxed in the Olympics back then?
