    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
I guess Lewis is coming back, because he doesn't want people to see Vitali as being the other undefeatable fighter in the era..
He also wants to erase any doubt from some of you ****ers' mind that Vitali could have beat him..

i only wish it were that simple, coming out of retirement when you're 39 is way different from being an active fighter who is 39. stopping training, and then starting again is a nightmare, and the ring rust, **** lennox, this is a mistake. a prime lennox lewis destroys frankenstein, but lennox's ego won't let him see that he'll never be prime lennox again. ****, i thought he was smart for getting out just at the right time, when his skils were starting to go, now he decides after sitting on his lard ass for a year getting rusty he's gonna come back. **** WHY LENNOX??? his timing will be off, his legs are history, his reflexes will be diminshed, but he's still got the big right hand. ****, ****, ****...???

21 million pounds is a LOT of moolah, big enough to raise even the dead from the grave! While this news is certainly GOOD news, the thing is Lennox should be honest with himself (and us fans).

If he honestly think he still got what it takes to be in the ring one more time with Vitaly and can give us our money's worth, then the fans will forever extol him for bringing HW boxing back to life.

Otherwise, if he knows he's already washed up but nevertheless grabs the offer solely because of the big money, then the boxing world will never forgive him for life for being unfair and making big fools of us!

Lennox Lewis: "I am not returning to the ring!"
********** Gets It Straight From The Horses Mouth!

                By G. Leon

January 23, 2005 - Former undisputed heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis released the following statement to **********.com, "I'd like to address the stories that are circulating in the press regarding my return to the ring. I want to reiterate what I said when I retired in February 2004 that I was fortunate to leave the sport on my own terms and that I will be one of the few heavyweight champions in history to retire on top and stay retired. I boxed professionally for many years and there will always be an attraction to the sport, but I am not returning to the ring. The recent attention given to the possibility of a comeback is flattering and evidences the public's desire for someone to establish a legacy similar to the one I left behind as the true heavyweight champion of the world," said Lewis. Much more to follow.

                Just dont shoot the messenger.

Site and date yet to be confirmed...
21 million sterling is too good to be true and if something is too good to be true then it probably is.
I will rejoice after the signing of contracts.
