Good! Klitschko can now finish the job and batter Lummox Lewis into re-retirement in front of all his mindless fans. He embarassed Lewis before and he'll do it again. The first time they fought, the WBC sent their ring doctor in prematurely to rescue the battered and losing chumpion. Anyway, we all know that his return is nothing but a big payday. Other than being embarassed by Klitschko again, Lummox has nothing to lose here. If he wins (no way expect to bring a gun into the ring), he gets to be the immortal champion (laughs). If he loses, everyone will just say that he was too old and pat him on the back and say, "Hey, Ali and Holmes tried to come back, too." Then he can slink back into retirement and we can be rid of his overrated ass forever.
VK will win the fight regardless.Last edited by Bryght; 01-23-2005, 12:52 PM.

call me ****** or use standard hater tactics on me or whatever.... but either way, intended or not, this could really hamper VK's match with Rahman... VK is the type to only look at what is right in front of him, so he won't get surprised or under-estimate his opponent... but this is a true test.. This is probably all he's hoped for since it happened (rematch with Lewis).. how can he not think about it now? It almost seems like a tactic, even though it might not be intended.
Despite the fact that this type of thing does happen, why would they hype up these kinds of fights before the participants even pass needed tests i.e. bouts that set it up (in this case VK vs Rahman)

That is what I head heard, but Kohl was also quoted as saying they are still in courts about it.
I dont think Manny trains Vitali now though, so I dont see why he would in the Lewis fight.
I always had the vision, that after the brewster fiasco Wladimir and Vitali had exterminated their ties with Manny.

That is what I was thinking, but who knows. The WBC is ****ING GREEDY! So Rahman may get the shaft.
BRYGHT-You may want to reassess your opinions and thoughts. The doctor did not stop the fight prematurely. The cut that was on Vitali's face was critical no matter how much Vitali screams he could still see. A cut that deep definately needs to stop a fight. His face looked like newspaper, that was the worst cut I had seen in years.
If Lennox comes in INSHAPE! and hasnt slowed down a bit, which I think he has. Then I give the decision to Lennox. However Vitali's speed will play a major factor, not his power. If Vitali can manage to stay active and come forward he has the fight in the bag. But if Lennox comes in at a low weight, we may have a decision going to Lennox. This match is a toss up but it favors Klitschko due to Lewis's inactivity.
Bad for Lennox
Good for Vitali
Unfortunately, it is the biggest heavyweight fight out their right now.

Leff-Steward works with Wladimir now not Vitali. Steward and Vitali had a dispute a while back I think and I have no idea what is up with universum and the klitschkos but they are legally binded to use a certain trainer.
Steward would definatly be next to Lennox.

Former heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis says he's coming back. "I've had to listen to a lot of rubbish from Klitschko and he is starting to get on my nerves," said Lewis to the Sunday Mirror. "I'm making a comeback later this year. The money is up to 21 million pounds (US$39.3 million) right now and I simply can't turn that much cash down. I'm going to start training seriously and I'm going back to England to start sorting this out," said Lewis, who lives in Jamaica's Montego Bay. I need the money just like everyone else and it's just too good to turn down."
ARGH! Lewis you fool!
I stand corrected in my previous posts about Lewis and his financial issues...LEWIS YOU FOOL!
Making the same mistake every great heavyweight does.
Ah spinks, dont call the man a fool..atleast this way he can beat Vitali again and put a stop to all the speculation and nonsenseI wish he'd stay retired too but not cause I think Vitali can beat him; matter of fact I believe that if Lewis comes in at his normal weight he wont get so tired so quick and it's all over for Klitschko. But he has plenty of money (or so I thought) and a new family to foucs on, and he did go out on top!

As how does the fight being stopped before Vitalis eye fell out constitute the ring doctor 'saving' Lennox?? If I remember correctly, Lennox had not a mark on him, but Vitali had to have reconstructive surgery? Funny how fans can twist the facts out of porportion til theyre damn near unrecgonizable

Opinion will always vary on that subject, but which fighter refused a rematch and retired and which fighter wanted the rematch and is now the world champion? Can't twist that fact.
An immediate rematch meant a title loss for Lewis and he KNEW that, so he ran into the safe and warm arms of retirement in order to dodge a career-ending bullet.
Because of his immense greed, now Lummox wants the fight. He can't win, but he's a money whore so he'll take the monster check and retreat after the loss.
Enough said. End of discussion.Last edited by Bryght; 01-23-2005, 01:39 PM.
