What people say has nothing what so ever to do with Hopkins winning or losing. If he fights better than his opponent he wins and if his opponent fights better than he does he loses. If he fights Kovalev then I think he loses but nobody KNOWS the winner until the fight is over.

The point is simple, Kovalev is like the rest of them, Just another fighter that people say hopkins has no chance against, But time and time again, Hopkins has silenced the critics, and when it comes to Kovalev, The result will be the same. Hopkins will give Kovalev a boxing lesson.

He is a tough fight for anybody, true, but far from unbeatable, he doesn't always win like the thread title says. I don't know why people take being a fan to these crazy levels and say wild things that they know aren't true. They can still be fans without lying to themselves, Hopkins is a great fighter with plenty of accomplishments so there is no need to exaggerate it.

I wouldn't count him out or anything, but Kovalev seems a really, really bad matchup for the old man. He's losing rounds to Cloud and Murat, he'd have a very tall task ahead of him with the Krusher.

I'm a huge b-hop supporter but, this match up with kovalev is bad for the old man. As a boxing fan I would love to see this fight, I'm just scared because it might be the end of a legend.
