Never said he was TBE. I know one thing for certain though, Floyd is definitely not close to TBE. You're so butthurt for no reason. It's a discussion, learn how to discuss and debate.

No I would have Floyd higher I think.

Kovalev is nothing more than a good win in the grand scheme of things.

Of course he would. I already got B-Hop infront but I might be biased since hes one of my fav and Floyd is not. They both ATG thats for sure. I give him a really good chance to beat Kovalev. If he can handle his power its a sure win for B-Hop.

But the Kovalev win is not great win...Floyds win over Maidana is better

What if Kovalev beats Ward, Adonis, Pascal, etc?

His career is far from over. He has plenty of time to build a legacy.

Those who value records above all will always keep floyd as the TBE in their mind. Those who go through the resume, the challenges of jumping divisions and who can honestly view the politics of boxing will vastly appreciate what hopkins has done much more.
So we deduct points from Floyd because he happens to be born into a boxing family? That doesn't make any sense to me.

You mention jumping divisions and resumes, as if they were in Hopkins favour? I think Floyd has a vastly better resume than Hopkins, who in his entire middleweight career, only beat 1 HOFamer. 2 I suppose if you take De La Hoya into the equation.

I honestly can't see how anyone could say his resume is better than Mayweather's.

Why's that? What great fighters has Maidana beat in reality? Broner and Ortiz are his best wins unless I'm missing someone. Or is it just because Maidana put up a better then expected fight?

Well Pascal wouldn't really do anything to him, but if he managed to beat those, then yes absolutely. But I'm not dealing with hypothetical wins, I'm dealing with what he has now - and he has a couple of good wins in Cleverly and Campillo. But by no means does he have a great resume or anything like that. It's just decent at the moment.

If he beat Ward and Stevenson, and then was beaten by Hopkins, that's an entirely different story.
