The July 12 bantamweight title fight between Tomoki Kameda and Pungluang Sor Singyu now has a televised home. The bout is scheduled for the undercard of the upcoming non-title fight showdown between Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez and Erislandy Lara, which headlines live on pay-per-view from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas

Prior to the a la carte event, Showtime has announced that the bantamweight title fight will air live on its flagship network as part of its “Countdown to Canelo-Lara” special.

“Our ‘Countdown’ show airs live 7:30pm ET live from the MGM Grand. It will include a live championship fight, the WBO bantamweight championship fight,” confirmed Chris DeBlasio, Showtime Vice President of Programming during a recent conference call to promote the pay-per-view event. do you mean warrior in the ring or because he dressed like a warrior before the fight? his brother warrior thing it just a gimmick, a lot of japanese boxer have entrance like pro wrestler with costume and music.

but from what i see and heard this youngest one is exciting to watch, even to highly standard mexico press and fans.

Tomoki is the most talented of the trio.

Interestingly this fight DID already have a TV home with a Thai channel picking it up (TrueVisions apparently) and Boxnation had it listed too. Nice to see Sho doing the right thing though.

From what I understand Pungluang is now having problems with the state commission and STILL isn't over in the US!

Tomoki is the most respected and he is humble. His Bros are straight up arrogant from what I heard. Once he fights In our country, People will remember his name. Tomoki fights like a Samurai.
